Jurgen SchonafingerJurgen Schonafinger   Practice Principal

Authorised Representative of Charter Financial Planning and Principal of Templeton Financial Services.

Jurgen has been in the Financial Services industry for sixteen years and completed his Diploma of Financial Planning in 2001 through Deakin University. He was admitted as a Certified Financial Planner in 2001.

In 2001, Jurgen established Templeton Financial Services with Bob Jones, building a well-respected Practice. In 2006, with Bob’s semi-retirement, Jurgen purchased Bob’s share in the business and is now the Practice Principal.

Jurgen has recently completed a four year term serving as the Victorian Board Director of the AXA Authorised Representatives Association. He has also served on the Advisor Risk Committee.

Jurgen prides himself in educating his clients so that they have a better understanding of the investments they hold, and in time become more comfortable due to their increased knowledge of their financial situation.

Jurgen is married to Carolyn and they have two sons aged fifteen and twelve. Most weekends involve football, soccer or cricket with the boys’ teams, with travel high on Jurgen’s list of favourite pastimes.


Bob JonesRobert M Jones

Authorised Representative of Charter Financial Planning for Templeton Financial Services.

Robert (Bob) has been practicing Financial Planning for more than 25 years, holds a Diploma in Financial Planning ( Deakin University) and is a practicing CFP.

Over the period of years, he has been Authorised to Godfrey Weston (Certified Investment & Financial Advisor 1988), National Mutual, AXA Financial Planning and Charter Financial Planning...

Bob also achieved recognition of 'Fellow' within the Australian Lifewriters Association in 1990, having completed all the necessary courses, and being a moderator in assisting in running of courses in the local areas.

He has received past recognition from the AXA Group as, Superannuation Specialist, Business Life Insurance Specialist and Equity Specialist.

Bob is married to Gwen and they have four adult children.


Martin RennerMartin Renner

Authorised Representative of Charter Financial Planning for Templeton Financial Services.

Martin has been in the Financial Services Industry for 20 years, and has held a Dealers License through Charter Financial Planning since 1998.

In February 2001, Martin was admitted as an Associate of the Financial Planning Association (Practitioners Division) due to his experience, continuing education and examination results.

His previous experience encompasses Banking, Superannuation administration, Training and Consultancy roles with a major institution, along with various Management roles within AXA Australia. He has been an Accredited Adviser since 1995.

In 2003, Martin attained the Diploma of Financial Planning through Deakin University and obtained the status of Certified Financial Planner.

Martin has received a 'Super Achievement Award' from AXA Australia in recognition for his contributions to their corporate business efforts.

Martin is married to Fiona with two daughters, and enjoys all types of sport, with fishing, travel and collecting wine his main leisure activities.


Paula CampbellPaula Campbell – Receptionist

Paula is our receptionist and office administrator, and your first point of contact with Templeton.

She has a wide range of experience in the secretarial and administrative fields, including a number of years working in the United States.

Paula joined the Templeton team in March 2007 and is currently studying the first module of her Diploma of Financial Planning.
