About Charter Financial Planning
Australian Financial Service Licensee
Established in 1997, Charter Financial Planning is an Australian Financial Services Licensee - License number 234665.
Within the financial planning industry, Charter is referred to as a "dealership". This unrestricted licence
to deal in securities means that Charter has the authority to recommend a variety of investment and financial planning
solutions to clients.
Charter Financial Planning provides strong infrastructure and back-office support to its financial adviser network, and
ensures that compliance requirements are met. Our financial advisers undergo rigorous accreditation plus extensive ongoing
training, and are provided with technical, research and strategic support.
A Network of Professional Financial Advisers
Charter financial advisers, also known as "Authorised Representatives of Charter Financial Planning" or simply
"authorised representatives", are financial advisers who provide you, the client, with financial planning advice.
In line with our professional approach towards the discipline of financial planning, Charter is a principal member of the
industry's professional body, the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
All Charter authorised representatives:
- are practising members of the FPA;
- observe a strict and comprehensive Code of Professional Conduct, which sets minimum acceptable levels of service; and
- undergo a rigorous accreditation process and extensive ongoing training.
Part of a Global Organisation
Charter forms part of one of the world's leading financial service organisations - the global AXA Group. The AXA Group has a presence in more than 60 countries and currently manages over US$65 billion in assets worldwide.
