design detail. Current projects include beautifully conceived domestic architecture, interiors and retail concepts across a broad range of budgets. The practice has also expanded into furniture design and selection.
Templeton, based in Windsor (Melbourne) and offers the full array of architectural services, including architectural design, interior design, project documentation, and project / contract administration.
The company also has relationships with a select stable of specialist builders, subcontractors and craftspeople developed over a decade of practice.

The team is headed by the principal, Emma Templeton, who brings more than fifteen years of design
experience from high profile projects around Australia.
With degrees in Architecture and Interior Design from RMIT (Melbourne), Templeton worked for some
of Australia’s biggest names in design including the celebrated Chris Connell Design, before establishing
her own practice in 2004. Templeton also lectures in Professional Practice within the department of
Architecture at RMIT and is an APE examiner on the Architects Registration Board of Victoria.
As part of the personalised approach, Templeton herself often hand sketches ideas for clients as she
translates their different perspectives into beautiful, functional designs.
